چکیده

This paper provides an overview of the research conducted in context structural (or structured) systems. These are parametrized models used to assess and design system theoretical properties without considering a specific realization parameters (which could be uncertain or unknown). The systems led principled approach variety problems, into what is known as theory. Hereafter, we perform systematic problems methodologies theory since latest survey by Dion et al. 2003. During this period, most focus seems on system’s related controllability/observability decentralized control, linear time-invariant systems, under classic assumption that independent belonging infinite fields. Notwithstanding, it notable increase topics go beyond such scope underlying assumptions, well applications domains. Lastly, provide compilation open questions several settings discuss future directions field.

Rational Choice Theory: An Overview

It seems easy to accept that rationality involves many features that cannot be summarized in terms of some straightforward formula, such as binary consistency.  However, this recognition does not immediately lead to alternative characterizations that might be regarded as satisfactory, even though the inadequacies of the traditional assumptions of rational behavior standard used in economic theo...

Port-Hamiltonian Systems Theory: An Introductory Overview Port-Hamiltonian Systems Theory: An Introductory Overview

An up-to-date survey of the theory of port-Hamiltonian systems is given, emphasizing novel developments and relationships with other formalisms. Port-Hamiltonian systems theory yields a systematic framework for network modeling of multi-physics systems. Examples from different areas show the range of applicability. While the emphasis is on modeling and analysis, the last part provides a brief i...

Synchronization Theory for Lur’e Systems: an Overview

We present a short overview of synchronization theory for Lur’e systems. Lur’e systems form a class of nonlinear systems with Chua’s circuit and certain generalizations (e.g. n-scroll circuits) and such coupled cells as examples. By exploiting the sector conditions on the nonlinear characteristics one can derive sufficient conditions for global asymptotic stability of the error systems. For sec...

An Overview of Normal Theory Structural Measurement Error Models

This paper gives an introduction and overview to the often under-used measurement error model. The purpose is to provide a simple summary of problems that arise from measurement error and of the solutions that have been proposed. We start by describing how measurement error models occur in real-world situations. Then we proceed with defining the measurement error model, initially introducing th...
